Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of medical devices that provide a unique range of healthcare solutions, focused on infection control and delivering sterile products into hospitals, NHS and the Private Healthcare sector.

 

These are exciting times for the client as they look to hire a truly exceptional Account Manager to join their growing UK sales team. If you are you experienced in area sales, new business development & account management (ideally in the surgical instrument, sterile consumable or O.R. supplies sector) we’d like to hear from you.

 

As Account Manager for the South East you will be responsible for promotion of their products, maintain and grow sales of existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.

 

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop local tactical plans to drive the company‘s strategic plans utilising the resources during implementation.
  • Plan diary effectively to manage relationships with existing customers whilst focusing on growth plans.
  • Develop local education plans in collaboration with the Medical Education Manager.
  • Monthly reporting identifying trends and actions within the territory.
  • Achievement of defined objectives including Sales Targets.
  • To regularly review sales performance and ensure realignment with monthly and annual targets.
  • To identify, attend and coordinate trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings in territory and attend national meetings when required.
  • Attend company head office as required for product training/launch events.
  • To build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff and any other relevant customer contacts.
  • To monitor competitor activity and competitors’ products and to maintain knowledge of new developments in the National Health Service (NHS), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting strategy accordingly.
