We are working with them to hire an energetic and driven New Business Development Representative for their People Identification business in the UK. As New Business Development Representative you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for growth across the division and to achieve revenue targets on self-generation new business in line with profit margin directives.

 

BUSINESS SUMMARY

They offer the widest range of people identification products available on the market: wristbands, badges, lanyards, badge holders, etc. Their products are everywhere from Retail companies (Tesco, B&Q, Santander, M&S, etc), Amusement & Water Parks, Events, Conferences & Trade Shows and many more. Their manufacturing facilities are located in the United Kingdom, Belgium, the United States, Mexico, and China.

 

ROLE PURPOSE

To identify new business opportunities for growth across the division, to achieve revenue targets on self-generation new business in line with profit margin directives.

 

This role is focused on self-generation of new business, though incorporate a modest account base which is also expected to grow through accomplished account management, alongside keen product knowledge and the ability to develop existing accounts.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Proactively seek opportunities

Manage, maintain and control a healthy pipeline and productivity levels

Achieve and maintain monthly revenue targets

Maintain pre-defined call rates

Identify new business opportunities

Keep client product knowledge current

Maintain consistent standards of customer contact

Sell product(s) in line with profit margin directives

Attend all relevant trade exhibitions

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTITUDE

 

2/3 years proven Account Management and New Business experience

Educated to A-Level or equivalent

An understanding of modern sales techniques

Proven track record of successful performance

Energetic and enthusiastic with high integrity and ambition

Microsoft Office Suite essential
