Role: Field Service Engineer – Agricultural Machinery / Crop Sprayers
Location: Field-Based Role – covering East of England (Norfolk to North Yorks)

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our clients engineering team, specialising in the service, repair and support of crop sprayers and agricultural equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery, with a focus on crop sprayers.
- Providing on‑farm support, including routine maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
- Offering remote technical assistance and telephone troubleshooting to customers.
- Working independently while being part of a supportive, experienced engineering team.
- Taking part in a seasonal call‑out rota (shared across six engineers).
- Completing service reports and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive approach.
- Good technical understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems; CAN‑BUS experience beneficial (training provided).
- Basic knowledge of hydrostatic drives and diesel engines.
- Agricultural machinery experience or crop sprayer knowledge is desirable, but full training will be given.
- Confident speaking with customers and guiding them through issues over the phone.
- Self‑motivated, safety‑conscious, and able to work independently.
- Welding/fabrication experience is a bonus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
