Role: QHSE Engineer (QC‑Focused)
Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Salary: Competitive basic, car allowance, bonus & benefits
We’re looking for a QHSE Engineer with strong, hands‑on Quality Control experience. This role is fast‑paced, varied and highly visible across the business. Although the title includes QHSE, around 80% of this role is practical QC within fabrication and engineering environments.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deliver QITPs, inspection forms and project QA documentation
- Conduct inspections, witness testing and liaise with suppliers
- Expedite fabrication activities and oversee equipment/material release
- Support audits (internal & supplier) and drive corrective actions
- Monitor project performance and provide QHSE support to Project Managers
- Contribute to bids, design reviews and project planning
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
What you’ll bring
- Strong fabrication‑related QC experience (welding, NDE, coatings, connectors)
- Confidence working with engineering standards (API, ASME, ISO)
- Great communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and keep projects moving
- A proactive, detail‑driven approach to quality and safety
