They are growing and progressing and looking to hire an energetic, enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor to join their team at its Preston site on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Answers Warehouse Operatives questions, helps with Warehouse Operatives problems, and oversees Warehouse Operatives work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Manage daily workflow
- Daily reporting to senior management
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Set clear team goals
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Monitor team performance and report on KPI’s to the Warehouse/Floor Manager
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Enforce Health and Safety in all areas of the warehouse
- Ensuring a high-performance culture through setting a high standard and monitoring the day to day duties of the Warehouse Operatives.
- Ensuring Customer orders are processed on time for collection
- Assisting in load preparations.
- Assisting in maintaining a high level of housekeeping within the workplace.
- Any other duties commensurate to the grade and as instructed by management.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Setting and maintaining high standard within the workplace, whilst acting as a model example for all colleagues.
